Lightwind Board
Do you live in an area with light or volatile winds and need a stable board? The Jazz will definitely support you! Especially in the high volume sizes, the Jazz is a great board for light wind.

Ultra-compact shape
A shorter, more compact shape means less swing weight, which translates into faster turns and easier rotations. Apple Tree moved the wide point forward, which keeps the required volume in the board. Across sizes, the length only increases by an inch, while the volume jumps by 10L, keeping the length short across the board.

Front foot support area
A new and innovative feature of the Jazz is the recessed bridge. This way we can keep the standing position at the right angle to the foil and at the same time we can add more rocker and volume to the front part of the board. The recess also provides an excellent and stable platform to stand on. With the recessed area extending into the tail, we eliminate any water accumulation in the deck.

Longer planing surface
The bottom has a longer flat section around the foil connection. This greatly increases glide efficiency and improves light wind characteristics. Especially in the high volume sizes, the Jazz is an excellent board for light wind. The steep edge of the tail helps a lot with release, which is very important when landing jumps, as you want that instantaneous deflection off the water surface.

Soft front area
In the nose, the Jazz has increased rocker, again to help with surface deflection. But the rails are also more rounded to further help eliminate sticking to the water. As the rails move down the board toward the tail, they form a harder and harder edge. This gives the Jazz a very soft landing feel.

Custom vacuum infusion technology produces a very strong, stiff and light board. Using 100% carbon fiber and no hidden fiberglass layers underneath, no compromises were made when designing these boards. The Jazz is a dedicated freestyle board, so you can jump on it all day without having to worry about your board.

Two industry standard US boxes connect the foil to your carbon board.
The boxes are positioned in the most common 90mm configuration to accept most foils on the market. This connection system is the strongest and lightest available. The boxes are placed in a high density PET honeycomb, which is itself sandwiched in carbon, meaning there is also carbon fiber inside the board. This makes the foil connection ultra strong, and really stiff for perfect energy transfer from board to foil.

The Jazz comes with a scratch resistant matte finish in clear carbon.

It has footstrap inserts as standard and is equipped with a comfortable 3mm EVA pad throughout the deck.
