Description

The SST V7 continues to push the boundaries of kiteboarding. Slingshot has introduced an all-new, lighter Dacron material offering even greater performance. This new material, combined with the thinnest and lightest battens ever created, has made the SST V7 one of the lightest three-batten kites ever produced. Slingshot team pilot and kiteboarding pioneer Ben Wilson continues to task the development team with pushing the limits of speed and drift. Building on the SST V6 platform Ben fell in love with, the design team rose to the challenge and delivered an even more refined SST V7 that offers ultra-fast response and precision turns.

Slingshot has implemented a new Dacron in the leading edge and spacers that is lighter and stiffer than previous frames.

The extra curve of the SST V7's wingtip combined with IRS bridle technology offers increased speed and responsive handling, completely revolutionizing its performance and recovery in the water.

The SST V7 uses the thinnest and lightest spacers ever designed. These smaller-diameter struts offer plenty of overall structure to the kite, while reducing weight and drag to enable next-level drift and response.

Simplified bridle system without pulleys
By eliminating pulleys, riders will experience more instant and direct kite entry. Slingshot uses ultra-thin, static bridle lines.

One pump speed system
The patented Slingshot invention has been improved. We've increased the diameter of our One Pump tubes for cleaner airflow, and repositioned the tubes to make them more streamlined and durable.

Compact C canopy
Provides the ideal balance of friendly, responsive handling with fluid stability and power. A versatile shape that excels in all conditions.

4×4 awning technology
The SST V7 is built with Teijin 4×4 reinforced ripstop nylon. This creates the strongest, stiffest and most durable canopy available today. Your kite will last longer and feel more stable in the air, especially in gusty winds.

Multiple attachment points
Different attachment points built into the kite allow you to fine-tune handling, power and performance to suit your riding style and the conditions of a particular session.
