Description

Who are the AXIS Progressive rear wings designed for?
The Axis Progressive rear fenders are versatile fenders for intermediate and advanced riders, combined with higher performance front fenders such as the HPS, ART, PNG and BSC front fenders.

You'll notice the difference from your first carve or gybe.

Why were the Axis Progressive stabs designed?
The stability, speed and lock feel of the Axis Speed stab is impressive. This is especially true on flat water like wing racing and big fast waves in surf foil. However, there is more to offer in the area of turning. That's why the Progressive rear wings were introduced, and they have done their job perfectly. Still the same feeling of speed but this time with more possibilities in carving and turning.

Medium in appearance, with a thin foil section and subtle downward facing tips, this new design rolls beautifully into the turn, feels fluid and free, and also hooks into the carve and transitions on the other side with predictable control and positive acceleration. Even intermediate foilers will notice the difference immediately. It handles very well in rough flying conditions (just set it and forget it) and with a thin foil section, it stays very fast. The Progressive stab is like a natural extension of your feet.

Riders find that the Progressive pairs perfectly with ART and HPS front wings, and it works great with any foil for riders looking to improve their turns and carves. As always, match your Progressive back kite to your experience and front kite size (larger sizes for less experienced riders and larger front kite pairs).

You may be wondering why rear wings are so important? Aren't they simply stabilizers to balance the front wing? Well, that's what many people thought too - in the early days. It's fair to say that your rear wing can change your life. Okay, that's not quite true, but it will significantly affect the driving characteristics of your entire foil set-up.
