The Manera Squareflex boardshort, the most technical of the range, is now constructed from coconut fiber! Coconut is widely used in the food and cosmetic industry, and once the inner part has been used, the shell is simply discarded. The coconut fibers are turned into activated carbon, which is proving to be a fantastic material for boardshorts. A durable PFOA/PFOS free water repellent is used, as these chemicals are very persistent and harmful to the environment once released into the ocean.

  • Flexible
  • Waterproof and quick drying
  • Strong and durable

Description

Flexible
Its 4-way elasticity is as good as any modern technical material. Squareflex adapts to your every move.

Environmentally friendly
Recycling of waste materials avoids the use of new raw materials. In addition, coconut fibres are mixed with recycled polyester to create a high-performance, environmentally friendly boardshort.

Waterproof and fast drying
Activated charcoal doesn't hold water, so the Squareflex dries quickly and stays light and comfortable. The wet fabric doesn't stick to your legs, preventing rashes in unpleasant places.

Prevents bad odors
One of the main properties of activated charcoal is to prevent bad odors. Yes, even when stored for days in the back of your car. It puts an end to smelly boardshorts that you forgot for a "little" while without drying them first.

Strong and durable
Our boardshorts aren't meant to spend the day by the pool, and this one is no exception. Coconut fibres mixed with recycled polyester create a very durable material that will last you through many outings in the sun.
