Description
The rocker is moderated to ensure that the F-One Trax Glacier offers a fast planing start while maintaining the legendary Trax glide. The rocker curve is divided into three distinct sections with a flatter section in the middle, which is crucial for a good heading on the water. The transition from the middle section to the ends of the board was inspired by the WTF rocker to provide the best pop.
The hull has a deep double concave and channels at the ends. The latter offers impeccable grip and control, while the double concave is really the key element behind the comfort and stability of this board.
The rails on the F-One Trax Glacier are inspired by the HRD, with larger sections at the foot for extra lift and balance, while remaining thin elsewhere for easy notching.
The deck shape is streamlined for simplicity and better contact with the pads. The 3D work done on the center section, another Trax legacy, keeps a firmer connection to this area of the board for more precision and control.
On the water, the F-One Trax Glacier is impressive for its smooth ride. Everything feels simple and intuitive. Perfect glide, excellent pop and easy landings characterize its perfectly balanced shape.
The F-One Trax Glacier is available in 2 sizes, which will cover many users. The shape proportions are inspired by the latest freestyle developments while the board dimensions are moderated for easy access.
All versions are equipped with UNIBOX 50mm fins, which offer a better speed and improved glide thanks to their thin profiles.
To achieve the highest quality pads, F-one has chosen an injection process that allows for different shapes and densities. They have created a dual density pad for optimized comfort: the edge areas are denser for better support while the sole areas are softer for more comfort. They use a unique process to generate all possible shapes while choosing the best density of EVA foam.
Because a strap is two things: a shape and a foam. The F-ONE strap is fully adjustable to the size and shape of the foot. This year, F-one has improved the quality of the strap, which is now made of gel foam and provides great comfort. Its neoprene coating is combined with an injected plastic base.
