The North Code Zero is a light, fast and responsive monohull kite, with effortless one-handed control and efficient power in light winds. It flies and turns fast - with excellent drift and maneuverability, making it ideal for foiling and light surfing. The North Code Zero is one of the lightest monohull kites on the market. It offers a playful, agile feel with dynamic steering. Refined to save weight, we've reduced the wing's construction to the essentials. We've used lighter N-Dure Dacron on the leading edge and strut for greater rigidity and durability, a double canopy layer to reinforce the trailing edge, and lighter bladder material in all sizes. DuraLite wingtip protectors offer abrasion resistance only where you need it, and small battens on the 9, 10 and 11m stabilize the sail. Great fun and easy to fly, with intuitive relaunch and reverse launch, the North Code Zero is also ideal for learning to kite or foil in light winds. The kite is stable and taut, with balanced geometry. There's no risk of luffing, overflying or stalling, and its one-handed steering means you can always foil in the position you prefer. For 2024, North has updated the Code Zero with a new bridle for a stiffer feel, lighter helm pressure, more direct steering response and increased stability. They've also optimized the wingtip angle of attack and improved trailing edge tension for smoother aerodynamics and reduced flutter. They have introduced three new sizes to the range: 6, 8 and 10m. The North Code Zero is a highly efficient kite with a wide wind range and impressive power for a single-bar kite, allowing you to sail in lighter wind conditions with a smaller kite.
