Description

The all-new X-Winger boards feature many new shape details that make them more versatile and agile, with better, smoother overall handling. They are longer and narrower than their predecessors. More importantly, they are far more efficient and superior in all aspects that support foiling performance.

The longer, narrower hull and subtle nose rocker provide better glide for faster acceleration and a smooth, passive take-off in flight mode. The clearly defined rail helps transfer the lift created by the bottom surface into a clean water exit and effortless take-off. These shape features work together to enhance the additional characteristics:

On occasional touchdowns, the board bounces gently off the water surface without losing speed.

The nose outline is also useful for touchdowns, as it reduces the board's weight and improves airflow. To compensate for the lower volume of the nose outline, we've added a little more thickness in this area. However, the narrower nose gives a lighter feel and a more agile ride.

The slightly concave support area offers a more direct feel on the foil.

One of the new features is the larger tail rocker. Once in the air, this additional bottom curve lifts the nose, improving the board's flying position. This creates more space in flight, so you can press the foil harder upwind without worrying about the board catching chop. What's more, it creates more pop for jumps and offers a more comfortable position.

The new X-Wingers also feature a unique tail cut-out. This reduces the wetted surface in the tail area, enabling more efficient take-off and quicker recovery after a touch-down. It's also possible to increase the board's rail in turns without the tail catching.

Technical details

The boards feature long track boxes that offer a wide range of foil adjustments. The rails are embedded in high-density blocks that extend from deck to base, creating an extremely stable construction.

What's more, PRO boards feature a high-density PVC sandwich, from the table to the sole, offering an unmatched ratio of stiffness to lightness in combination with Innegra rail reinforcement.
