The unique design of the Surf Performance (SP) front wing features a dihedral, or V-shape, where the foil meets the mast. When the foil is flipped over in a turn, this has the effect of reducing the lift generated by the opposite side of the foil, as it will be at a more vertical angle. This makes it much easier to take tight and loose turns when Prone, SUP, Wing, Wind, Tow or Kite foiling.

Description
The Axis SP 860 Carbon was designed with Surf Performance foiling in mind. As the largest kite in the new Surf Performance line, the 860 meets the needs of foiling surfers for fast, sweeping turns on medium to small waves.
Surf Performance kites can be launched much harder into waves, making them very incisive in the surf. Thanks to their deep V design, they won’t throw you too fast in front of the wave. They are much easier to keep in the zone.
The Axis SP 860 carbon is a fantastic wave and cruising kite for light days. You can fly it as slow as you want, it turns on a dime, and you can still push it on the faster downwinders. A perfect kite that excels in the lightest of winds.
The SP 860 can also be a high performance SUP kite for big days or lighter riders. And if there is a lot of wind, the SP 860 can be the most surfed wing foil you have ever used.
