Description
The Marker Griffon 13 ID is a lighter version of the Jester and offers the same features to younger and lighter riders and is one of the most versatile freeride bindings on the market; recommended for expert skiers. SOLE.ID technology allows the binding to be adjusted to accommodate alpine or touring ski boots. In addition, the Marker Griffon 13 ID features tear-resistant screws and a centralized weight balance: the front stop spring in the transverse position and a more compact design make for an especially short binding, ideal for all kinds of rotations (spin and twist). Recommended for skis wider than 76 mm, available with 90, 110 and 120 mm brakes. FEATURES SOLE.ID Sliding plate adjustable in height to be compatible with the soles of alpine ski boots (ISO 5355), ski touring boots (ISO 9523) and GripWalk. Easy to adjust: pozi screws located on the front of the plate allow for height adjustment of the sliding plate. AFD GLIDING PLATE The Marker Griffon 13 ID is equipped with a mobile AFD (Anti Friction Device) which guarantees the most precise release, virtually unaffected by dirt, snow or ice! The AFD can be adjusted according to the type of use, ensuring perfect functionality for competitions, children’s activities and ski touring. ANTI ICE RAIL A metal accessory for scraping ice and snow from the sole of the ski boot. INTER PIVOT 3 FREERIDE HEEL The third and most modern generation has been completely redesigned: improved power transmission, energy absorption and vertical elasticity of the heel piece, combined with increased boot comfort. TRIPLE PIVOT ELITE TOE This front stop concept, with DIN/ISO up to Z 18, guarantees exceptional holding power for freeriding. The front stop spring is positioned horizontally and, together with a 5° inclined sole support, ensures maximum energy absorption to reduce the risk of early release. The large bearing surface optimizes power transmission and allows for high mechanical loads. Relative to their weight, frontstops with this technology achieve unprecedented levels of performance.
