When moving the mast towards the front of the fuselage, you have to take into account that the effective length of the rear fuselage to the stab is increased by the distance the mast is moved forward. That's why Axis is introducing a new fuselage size, the “Sillyshort”, which is not Advance+, but Advance with 40mm further forward. When choosing your Advance Black fuselage, it's advisable to take this into consideration, and perhaps opt for a shorter length than you're used to.

Compared with the current range of standard Black fuselages, this fuselage offers a smoother, quicker transition from one side to the other. There's a small trade-off: this ease of turning comes at the expense of trajectory stability and speed. (So expect a small effect on your ability to wingfoil upwind, and a slight adjustment to your pumping technique. If you're a fan of very high-speed surfing on big waves, you'd be better off with the regular black fuselages).

With the mast positioned 60mm further forward on the fuselage, the position of your baseplate needs to be 60mm further forward in the board box to position the wings in the same position as the normal black fuselage.

The black advance+ replaces the previous black advance version with its 40mm forward mast.
