The tip/tail channels and grooved rails offer all the dynamism you need to ride upwind, as well as an ultra-solid trajectory in all conditions. Atomic Wood Core
Sustainably grown Paulownia wood provides the lively, springy character for which our boards are renowned. Vertical laminate construction harnesses the collective strength of the wood grain to deliver strength, consistent flex and pop.

Bedrock carbon inserts
Lightweight, flexible and durable inserts maintain the board’s flex underfoot for a consistent feel from tip to tail.

Single Shot Fusion sidewalls
Using the same technology as urethane skateboard wheels, our innovative manufacturing process integrates the rail into the board core in a single shot, delivering unmatched cushioning and durability.

Chined Rails
Designed to completely redirect spray outwards and downwards, these ventral channels reduce the contact surface between the board and the water’s surface. Chined rails also help avoid catching an edge during fast, hard landings.

Precision laser cut channels
Using the latest laser-cut channel technology, the Asylum offers sharper launches, smoother landings, better response, tons of grip, load and pop, and upwind lift.
