The North Orbit's design philosophy is simple: create a kite that's very easy to use, and bring big air performance to everyone, from beginners to professionals. And it works! While the previous version of the Orbit was already a super-stable and predictable wing in all conditions, the Orbit 2024 takes these characteristics to the next level. North has adjusted the Orbit 2024's bridle so that the wing performs better in gusts and is even easier to control in strong winds, further increasing the Orbit 2024's predictability. The result is a wing you'll dare to send to the moon in the strongest conditions for higher-than-ever jumps.

With improved bridles, the shape of the leading edge is also more balanced. The continuous LE arc is slightly narrower at the shoulders and slightly wider at the wingtips. As a result, the North Orbit 2024 has a more aerodynamic design and flies through the air with less drag. You'll also notice that this is the fastest Orbit ever, and don't forget that the North Orbit was already the fastest 5-batten wing on the market! Kitelooping with a 5-batten kite has never been easier. The traction that the North Orbit 2024 gives in the kiteloop is very light, so you can practice all types and variations of kiteloop with plenty of control.

For the Orbit 2024, the panel layout has been revised. This new layout eliminates some heavy panels and reduces the number of seams to a minimum. The Orbit 2024 is therefore lighter, and the new layout also contributes to a more aerodynamic profile, faster steering and finer feedback.

To top it all off, the weight of all Orbit 2024 bladders has been reduced by 17%, which translates into an overall improvement in performance!

Of course, much remains the same on the North Orbit 2024. The Orbit 2024, for example, still has its unique high aspect ratio for hangtime and big air. However, this ratio has been slightly reduced in the smaller sizes, so that these sizes now offer a little more hangtime. The Orbit is reinforced with Kevlar in various places to prolong its life.
