The Carve is equally at home in waves and on flat water. A clever mix that allows her to be both a surfer and a freerider. With its impressive drift, it is totally forgotten in the wave. The Carve still has some hangtime to allow you to go strapless freestyle. This 3-batten kite has an instant depower, ideal for beginner riders. This is the kite used by Jalou Langeree, three times strapless kiteboarding world champion.

Description

Stiffness
The leading edge of the Carve has been widened, which makes it firmer and stiffer. It reacts much quicker when you give a command with the bar.

Surf construction
Dacron reinforcements have been placed in all three battens to make the kite a little stiffer and more responsive.

Drift
Thanks to its pulley-less bridles, the North Carve 2020 drifts perfectly. This means that the kite is able to follow you through the wave with ease.

Depower
The Carve’s border choke is very efficient, you push the bar and the kite doesn’t pull anymore. Ideal for surfing but also very reassuring for a beginner.

Kevlar
Kevlar reinforcements are located at each connection between the battens and the leading edge.
